I still remember the time he dropped into the announcers booth during the game and he was tanked. Thats gotta be on you tube. lol A classic
I remember watching a Red Sox game about 6-8 yrs ago and Denis Leary came it the booth.  He was completely lit and was hilarious.  He was up there for a couple of innings and had the announcers bawling.  They showed a camera shot and I think it was Mike Patrick, face beet red and looking like he was about to piss his pants laughing so hard.  Leary mentioned something about Youkalis being the Red Sox's token Jew, and I thought Patrick was going to fall out of his chair.

Wow   ....   TV crew mis-called that if true.

C&D say they had a better view than the TV guys. Maybe they have an angle that lets them see the tunnel?

It's a distraction from the real issue.  The media will ask Matt about Bryce tonight rather than ask him about his latest bonehead decision that cost us another game.
Maybe he had something that felt like a ball in his back and couldn't run it out.

If it is not an injury then that is a major issue.

I'm shocked that dikweed would do that to Harp again.   As TT said, there have been plenty of examples of not hustling on this team and they "punish" Harper?

If Bryce is being punished, the national media is going to have a field day with this!

C&D saying that Harper did not run out the popup. Coach and manager walked Harper and his bats down the tunnel to the clubhouse.

Really? Matt just wants to get fired now.

Maybe this is what we need to get Williams fired?

Yes. That is why it has to be an injury issue.

You don't pull him at this point of the season. You fine him and move on.

Harper is out of the game and might be injured but I'm completely at ease.  The season is already lost.  Shutting him down to get ready for next season is no big deal at this point.

The smart plan would be to rest Harper until next August. Up until August team line will be: Y'all worry about y'all. We got this.....Harper will be back soon

Didn't Rizzo say that Williams handled the bullpen "masterfully" these last two horror-show losses?

If Matt Williams took out everybody who didn't run to first, there'd be about three players still playing.

IDK. I'm not watching MASN, but that wouldn't surprise me.

Uncle Ray mentioned the swing not looking good.

He was fooled on the pitch, no doubt. It was a really ugly swing.
