...unless his presence is hurting recruiting

This will killl it.  I asked the parent of a player what they thought of him during the recruiting process, and he said just fine.  Today he is doing a jig...the luster wore off fast.

He promises the parents the team will be disciplined and high character, good academic support, etc.  Many parents actually want this for their kids, but the kids themselves chafe under the gratuitous discipline.

This was from today's College Gameday. Check out the :w: hat at the bottom of the screen. But don't miss the blunder on the sign.

Edsall didn't have a chance in the Big 10.   Neither will the next guy.

They have a good chance to be what most of the teams in the B1G are: roughly .500 conference teams.  They should be able to be competitive with Iowa, maybe Michigan, Iowa, Penn State, Rutgers, etc. Like last year.

Never liked Edsall. Glad he's gone. Turgeon, on the other hand...

Seriously, though, he seems unable to work with the talent he has.

Thanks Gburg.    I liked him at Connecticut but can't say I follow Terps' football that closely.

Being in the lower-third of the DMV (geographically), I can understand that.

Like the Big 10 and Terps' basketball.    Hell, I'm still trying to get used to Penn State in the Big 10.

He left his old team in the most dick way possible, throw in the wanna be drill sergeant attitude and he's easy not to like
