Perusing the NCAA schedule today on ESPN.Com.       Ohio State at VT looks like fun.    Have to flip between the Nats and this game  ...  with primary emphasis on the Nats' game.

That game is on Monday night.

Damn, I wasn't paying attention to the dates.    I was scrolling.    Oh well, I guess it'll have to be Wisconsin and Alabama on the monitors in the President's Club.    :)

I'm always there for you bro. Besides, I wouldn't be able to focus on the Nats game with you nagging about why you can't find the OSU/VT game on the monitor.

TEMPLE with the beat down over Penn State. First time since 1941 and first win over a Power Five conference team since 1942!  Next week at Cincinnati will be an even bigger test.  Then bring on Notre Dame.

Last year, Maryland's Will Likely had 210 yards for the season returning punts, an 11.1 yard average that was 3rd in the B1G.  Not bad.

Today however, he had 233 punt return yards   against Richmond, breaking the league record that had stood since 1939.

I went to the game a few years ago when Temple came down here and kicked their butts. It was a shocker. Of course Maryland returned the favor up in Philly the next year. Good luck in the Big Ten this year.

Thanks, though I was more laughing about Penn State losing to them.   Sure Md can get beat by "lesser" programs, but Penn State is not supposed to.

I only saw the last quarter but Penn State did not look very good.  Hackenberg is supposedly a first round draft choice but looked bad. Ten sacks including one where they only rushed two guys.

Ty Johnson looked good! 10 carries 80+ yds and a TD in his first game. All in the 4th qtr.
Will Likely could have easily had 300 punt return yards.

Will Likely is a great name. Such as Will likely could have had 300 yards. But they took him out.

He had another big return called back for a penalty, was that on a punt or kickoff return?

I think it was a punt. Got tix to the South Florida game too. Section 20 I think.

Anyone going to the Maryland game tomorrow? My boy and a former coworker and his son are gonna be there for what it's worth. It'll be my son's first football game above HS level.

Looks like you picked a good one

Watching Penn State completely implode yesterday against Temple was a thing of beauty. Couldn't happen to a nicer, more humble guy than James Franklin.

Best part was Franklin threw his team under the bus after game.

The Terps won't be very good this year (Hills is not a good QB), but there's a lot to like from yesterday (running game, OL, Likely).

Time for my alma mater (Virginia Tech) to pay for the miracle win in C-bus last year.  If it doesn't end up 73-0 I'll consider it a success.  #FireBeamer

That's the spirit?  Hokie sunshine squad?
Go HOKIES. I really don't expect a win but they seem to have the defense to keep them in it and having Bossa out for Ohio State is a break.

I'm just tired of the Beamer lovefest and the team being a crushing bore that barely beats bad ACC teams only to get their brains smashed when they go against any halfway decent team.

Probably the best they will ever do given the school location, conference, etc.  Could be worse--you could be a UVA football fan.
