I suggest looking outside.
I'm in OBX. It's raining here

I'm guessing the offense is done for the day

This kid Ross has sure been a ray of sunshine lately. I got him penciled (no, inked) in to the rotation next year. And if Turner turns out to be a starter, then that trade with the Padres will go down as the best trade of Rizzo's tenure so far.

The only question mark for next year's rotation is the fifth spot because the top 4 will almost assuredly be Scherzer, Strasburg, Gio, and Ross

Next year after everyone has seen him he may just fade into mediocrity. Happens so often.

Roark. I think AJ Cole gets dealt in the offseason. Or converted to a reliever.

Ross's stuff plays.  He's a 50/55 FV guy according to most scouting reports.  He may be out-pitching his peripherals but he's definitely got back-end stuff

Yep, mid 90s velcoity, nasty slider, poise, command...he'll be fine.

Hope you're right. I like watching him pitch.

The key is command.  You rarely see young guys come in and have the command he's shown so far.  If he doesn't get injured he'll be a great 3 to Scherzer and Giolito's 1 and 2
