Again we have to hold out for hope that the Giants can finally win a game to salvage the night.

We don't have to win until August and September.  FP said so...

It doesn't matter what the Giants do.  It's not a question of if the Mets take the division lead.  The question is when.

If we strand Desmond, contract the franchise.

No one will be mad.  No one will be embarrassed.  There definitely won't be any soul searching.

That's why this team is so bad, so unspeakably bad.

Why is Denard Span on the active roster? If the team doesn't really know what's wrong with the back, why not put him on 15 day DL and get another OF? (Of course, the team doesn't have another OF in the minors...)

Good gracious.  The Brewers did sweep the Reds and outscored them 25-5 before this series and they come in and crap all over the Nationals.

Unspeakably bad.

How come Taylor Jordan can't not suck when the game is actually within reach?

The Reds don't care now.  They know the game is over so nothing you're seeing from Jordan matters in this game.

Except for the fact that he's kicking our collective asses, he's fun to watch pitch.  Not quite as much fun as Livan, but not too far off.
