Ten million for Johansson and holtby seems less than efficient. But we probably don't have any other options this year

What's inefficient is paying Laich $4.5 mil/yr to play 140 total games since the lockout. That little Swiss adventure of his was a disaster for the Caps.  Not a Yashin or DiPietro kind of disaster, but still a big chunk of cap space.  Maybe he'll revert back to his pre-extension 82 regular season games form. Not really counting on it though.

At least Big John and his $2MM is finally off the books...

I'll be surprised if Latta makes the team this year...

Hershey, maybe...maybe the 13th or 14th forward with the parent club...healthy scratch material...

We get excited about these teams and then they always disappoint us--why do we do this to ourselves.

VaRK, it appears as if the Wizards have tried to improve the arena.

Thanks...good start, but new flooring in all of the executive suites hardly enhances the game day experience.  What they need is a new jumbotron...the one in Tampa is special.

I'd also like live organ music, ala ol' time hockey...though having Motley Crue played last year was a huge improvement over the coutry-western crap they used to play.
