I love charlie and dave- he's hit in 5 of his last 12; that's about as hot as any national right now

3-10 career against Eovaldi with 2 HRs.  Seems like a "get right" opportunity getting wasted to me.
Probably means a DL trip is incoming.

We manufactured a run

Or... at least I think we did... Honestly, can't even remember what that looks like...

Gio is cruising.  Good to see.  The discrepancy between his FIP and ERA almost ensured he was going to start having some better outings.

Harper's foot had better be fine... Seriously, that crap just can't happen.

Hard contact... right at someone.  Good AB from Clint.

Desmond has absolutely no clue about the strike zone....please let this baseball Neanderthal go....trade/sell or rent him to another team, ASAP. A pitcher could throw the ball towards home plate, high, low, inside or outside, over the screen or bounce it 6 times in the dirt and this egotistical dufus would swing at it....

I would bench Desmond just for swinging like an idiot every time.  It's really no surprise to any of the us who's watched him the last couple years that his approach would eventually fail him.  It's a crime if they don't start playing the far superior SS who is now consistently hitting better than him.

I am for inserting Trea Turner at SS first thing next week.

Starting to feel the same way.  Seems like there are no lumps left for him to take in the minors anyway.

Pitchers seem to have noticed that they don't needto throw Desmond a strike to get him out

Just gonna throw this out there but do we really want to leave Bryce in this game?  Running while favoring a foot in an outfield you essentially don't know at all seems like a really easy way to get hurt.  Is it worth it for one game?

That's what the announcers say.  Why wouldn't the team think it?    Desi made a nice play.   It's Rendon's fault.   Bullcrap.    Somebody needs to say Desmond sucks.

why do we have so many duffers? Tyler Moore is getting worse...Robinson is ho-hum....Desmond is horrible....Lobaton is awful...out of 9 'batters'....we have maybe 1 or 2 who have a clue...Harper and Span, with possibly Espinosa keeping pace...otherwise, there are 5-6 gaping holes/auto-outs in every line up...

So if Desi starts another game that Espinosa sits, do we wanna go angry mob?  Because I'm voting angry mob...
