Until his mediocre fielding rears its ugly head and everyone starts calling for him to be DFAd.

A manager with balls would platoon him at 1B with Zim, Zim rakes against lefties, Robinson clobbers righties and at 1st the defense isn't as much of a black hole as LF where it's like having Prince Fielder out there

you want Zimmerman in more than that.  you don't want him sitting 65% of the time.  Clint reminds me a bit of mikey mo in that his best defensive position would be DH.  Now, if there were 3 rigties you wanted to give rest to and you did not need defense at their positions, then clint could get his plate appearances.

look I jest slightly, I want Zim to succeed, I just am at pains to see him underperforming so much - I think this is almost who he is now though

Agree - but Clint should start once in every 3 games, or once per series

And our reward is Werth now hitting .910 over his past 15 games.

OPS maybe?

Werth has never been a bad hitter just banged up or slumping, problem is when they all came back it hurt us.

Yes, OPSing.

Robinson is doing the job he was destined to do, and I hope to see him stick around for a long time.

I'd have to see some data, for at least this year, I don't think you're right about that.

Then why didn't you look up some data? His splits against LHB are better than RHB.

SSS but still.

My wife is a massage therapist.

It's 2015, women have jobs now. Get over it!

I think this thread is great. However, we may want to be a little more reserved in our heapings of praise. It might get to Clint's head and next thing you know he'll be showing up to scrimmages with cool hair like Bryce Harper.

Scrimmages? Do you have secret info that Clint will be signed as the next Redskin tight-end?
