Don't swing Taylor. He'll walk you.

I don't think Ross is doing his pitcher any favors. Doesn't appear to be framing pitches at all.

How is it possible that David Ross doesn't know how to catch when he's been in the big league for several years??

Taylor should be a defense-replacement ONLY.  He's trash at the plate.

And he whiffed on an 88 mph fastball on a 3-1 count with the bases loaded so that tells you a lot about his bat.

Does Taylor always choke up on the bat even in 0 and 1 strike counts? Just noticed that.

I don't know if I'd go that far but he does K nearly 40% of the time and that's way too much for a major league hitter.  I'd almost rather see Moore in while Werth is out.

I'd rather have better options.

Hah, he's no Ryan Church.  I think I saw Ryan out on a pontoon boat this weekend down at Lake Anna.  Looked like he'd put on a couple of pounds but he was tanned and a babe on each arm.  Couldn't tell if either one of them was Jewish, however.
