Astros
any game broadcasted by Vin Scully
San Antonio Spurs
Turkish national soccer

I like Vin Scully too, but has anyone else noticed lately how loud the music and sound effects at Dodger Stadium are? It's actually hard to hear Scully sometimes over "Everybody clap your hands!"

I've noticed that too. It's annoying.

Agreed.  The only time I like the music there is when A-Gon comes up to bat.

Straight ticket here: Capitals, DC United, Mystics, Nationals, Redskins, Wizards - with an occasional bit of nostalgia for the Dodgers (I grew up in that area) and a travelling interest in Chelsea FC.

Minty, where are you?

Those guys all played A-ball for the Lexington Legends, and I, too, watched them all in A-ball b/c I lived there for about 10 years.

But I thought Lexington got a new affiliate since I left in 2009 (?).

Short-season A-Ball.  I live in the Albany, NY area and they played for the Tri-City ValleyCats in Troy, NY.

Nasty Nats
Royals (Lorenzo Cain is my cousin)
Padres (extended family are current owners, Petco is one of the nicest park in MLB)

Related question...

We all obviously admire and appreciate this board and how it is administered and moderated.

What other boards are out there (ie, built for your other teams) that you think are equally admirable?

I grew up in Chicago and the White Sox are my #1 team.

Of all things, I follow the University of Alabama in college football despite having never set foot in the state of Alabama. Why? In 2007, I realized that I was never going to be affiliated with a school that was any good at football. So I decided to pick a big-name team and follow it. I didn't want a team that was dominant at the time (so no Florida or USC), but I wanted a team that at least had the potential to be good. I narrowed it down to Alabama and Georgia, which were showing the potential to nip at Florida's heels in the SEC. I picked Alabama. It was the best decision I ever made.

Straight ticket and other local teams. Basically anybody in the Baltimore-Washington Metro area. Nats/O's, Skins/Ravens, don't really follow the sports but Caps, Wiz and United too I guess, in that order. Don't watch college sports, though.

I've heard rumors of some discord between the groups. Hasn't bothered me none.

MLB:  Nationals.  Secondary team is the Orioles.  I like the Royals a lot but it's hard following out of market teams.  Loved watching them in the playoffs last year.  Made the Nats debacle hurt a lot less.  The White Sox and Astros are cool too.
NHL: Capitals
NFL:  Ravens.  I like the Redskins okay, but I don't really pay attention to them.  In fact, I'd compare my support of the Redskins to my support of the Orioles.  I like both teams and am happy when they win, but I also wouldn't call myself a big fan of either.
NBA:  Wizards
College:  Virginia Tech.  Maryland as a secondary.
Soccer: DC United.  Team USA.  Any team Cristiano Ronaldo is on.

MLB: Nats and O's.
NFL: RamSkins been a lifetime fan of both Redskins (My Homie team) and the Rams (I guess because I was born under the Aries sign) when I was becoming aware of football Roman Gabriel was their QB so I was more a "I like Sonny/I like Roman" guy instead of the usual "I like Sonny/I like Billy".
NHL: Caps
NBA: Bullets!!!! UM Oh they are now the Wizards going on almost 20 years.
