These days, POS is actually a pretty accurate description for the lineup, 1 through 8.

This is the only reason not to want Atlanta to burn to the ground again:

this is the closest thing to a 'must win' game we've had since game 4 against SFO.  Losing a series to Atlanta won't be fun.

They need to get their grooves back against Atlanta so they go into New York remembering winning is plausible.

Kudos to Hammond for starting the GDT so we can pregame more.

And I LOVE the shot of the Nats celebrating the division on the Barves field last year.

They need to get a win. And then another. And so on. It's that simple. But it starts with the next game.

Not sure if I like this lineup. RZimm is having issues running, so he'd be station-to-station if he gets on base. Werth is scuffling and I'd move him down and Escobar up since Yunel has the second best OBP on the team right now.

I like to see Williams shaking things up. In the world of Williams, this is an earthquake.

Harper is always at his best hitting behind Werth.  They just make a really good pair when Werth gets on base.  Escobar behind Harper is about as good as it gets for protection right now. I'm expecting opportunities to happen tonight.

If Desi were still going well, I'd flip him and Werth.  Otherwise, I'm more or less fine with this. They used RZ 2d a few times in the past, maybe in 2012?
