He was perfectly reliable as a LOOGY.  Williams/Rizzo was determined to have him pitch against right handed batters for some reason.

Because he was effective in Oakland.

Blevins got traded here for one year, then traded away in spring training - not a players favorite time to get traded, and repped himself in arb...is the treating me so well snide?

If they really were determined to ship him out because of the arbitration thing, then then it's easy to see where Strasburg gets being a mental puss from.

I can see him coming out to make Harper whiff through curveballs already.

If you could have watched today's game you would have seen it today.  In division trades are a bad idea.

Yep, so one of Harper's at bats will result in a strikeout or a walk. Harper still gets three more. The Mets will still finish below .500.
