Vladi would have been a good guess, if you were looking at this franchise :stir: .  Vladi or Moises Alou would be more likely than Kingman, I'd think. 4 HRs for Devon White were probably his last 4.

White hit over 200 home runs.

Hard to think of him that way with that speed and D, but you are right.  When he broke in with the Angels, he hit 24 HRs.  I tend to think of him as a low to mid teens HR guy he was after that in the AL during the rest of that time with the Angels and his time with Toronto.

Just looked.  His two 20+ years were 11 years apart.  Lots of teens in between, but most of his career numbers seem to be due to longevity.

LA has already DFAed Xavier Cedeno, electing to go with what is left of Sergio Santos instead.

I wonder what those cash considerations were.  A Starbucks gift card?

I can't believe Rizzo traded Blevins and kept him.  If I'm the owner, I'd have to get an explanation for this.

Dylan Hernandez        ✔ @dylanohernandez
The #Dodgers have sold Xavier Cedeno to the #Rays. The #Dodgers purchased him from the #Nationals last week and DFA'd him.

This is clearly part of Cedeno's cunning plan to be on the roster of all 30 teams this season, so he can guarantee a ring on the shelf at the start of next season.

I guess the Dodgers must have lost their receipt and Lerner wouldn't give them a refund :lmao: This talk makes it sound like he's something you would buy off a store shelf, except any item off of a store shelf would probably have pitched better.

Atlanta has released the Capper. That is still a hilariously godawful trade on Minnesota's end.

I'm rooting for Souza, and more than once have written on this site that I expected him to have a solid career. But, man, what a terrible weekend:

His Ofer slump isn't as long as Desmond's was yet!

haha you got me. :hysterical:

The Detwiler part. He has been terrible and the Astros have been mashing LHP. Obviously Houston is about to come crashing back down to earth.

hello, Lombo . . . we just figured we'd give you a prank call and make you think you are on the roster.  Really, we just need someone to lug some big league chew around.
