Take him to the rooftop bar in the Hampton Inn across the street from the ballpark. It’s open to everyone. You won’t need a room key to get up there.

He wants to watch the WI game at 8:30 PM.    We want to be near the Silver Line so we don't have to transfer.

After a little bit of googling there is a Badger get together at Hamilton’s Bar and Grill 233 2nd St NW.

Cool DC, thanks.    Perhaps we'll check it out.

Little bit of a hike from the ballpark up to NW there.

We planned on walking to Capitol Hill anyway  ....   good infantry training and clean livin'.      :)    Depends how much we drink at the Park.    I suggested last night that we get at least one drink from every "bar" in the Park in celebration of our last game this year.

The food and drinks aren’t bad and the view is cool. They have a big screen TV and with the Wisconsin game on channel 5 they might put it on.

Hamilton’s gets super crowded for Badger and Packer games. In went there a few times to get my cheese curd fix right after moving here from Madison.

One other thing I forgot. All the Wisconsin bars will be packed. Bunch of fans in town for Packers-Redskins tomorrow.

Walked from the Park to 2nd and C, NW to Hamilton's.    Had a great time with all the WI folks  ...   and a couple of MN people.

After the game, we stopped by the roof top for a drink.    Great view.

It would be interesting to see how the Nats would react to a player kneeling. I read that we have the 2nd most left wing fan base after Oakland. We also have a team that routinely markets itself wrapped in the flag.

Then it would make more sense to market the team wrapped in the UN flag or some other globalist symbol and quadruple the President's Club prices and similarly lower the seats in the other sections charging ticket prices based on people's ability to pay............especially  so for the beer prices

The Lerners would rather have the fans eat rat crap than pay to clean their ballpark, 6th worst in MLB. People call Peter Angelos sleazy but at least he serves clean food. This is Valerie Camillo's legacy, high prices but no staff to keep the place clean.

An ESPN investigation of food-safety inspections at professional baseball, football, basketball and hockey venues determined Nationals Park and FedEx Field ranked among those with the highest violation rates in the country.

That has more to do with the catering company they use than the Lerners themselves.

Okie doke

My comment wasn't about the Lerners.    I simply used PB69s post as a quote/piggyback about the food.    Please don't include me in your and PB69s spat.

The Nats and Os use the same concessions company and the Os were listed as fourth best. Facts.

Capitol One Center I'm sure would have been there too but they were unranked.
