But, um, that's a good idea.
I'd rather contract the playoffs and keep the regular season relevant.
No it's not. Why would anyone want less baseball???Seriously... more double headers if you're worried about too many dates.
The regular season becomes more relevant with less games.
not if you expand the playoffs
How so? Everyone here would agree the playoffs in the NHL and NBA are pretty relevant and they allow more than half the league to play in their respective tournaments. And while I agree the first playoff round in both of those leagues is pretty watered down, from the second round on it's balls to the wall - and I hate the NBA so giving them credit pains me.
I think the NBA regular season is the most irrelevant in professional sports
The regular season becomes more relevant with less games. I would want less baseball. I think 120 is a reasonable amount of games to play and then make the playoffs longer.

I'm fine with 154 and I'm fine with another round. Hypothetically, you add 1 team per league, have 4 divisions of 4, lose the Wild Card, do 3 games in round one, 5 in round 2, 7 in the LCS, 7 in the WS.
So, you're saying add 2 teams?
How about the talk about eliminating the shift? I don't agree with that at all. I hope Manfred doesn't make us long to have Bud back.
You have one too many series...unless you mean have 8 teams per League in the playoffs - 1st and 2nd places. I like the concept, but do 7 games in all series...
