Smoltz doesn't play around, he throws it right down the middle every time.

I'm Ryan Church, I ground out softly to the 2nd baseman on a 2-0 count..

Smoltz with 2 easy 1-2-3 innings thus far.  Not only could we be shutout, we could also be no-hit.

got to wonder why we insist on keeping mitchel paige - our hitting wasn't any good last year, and we still show no patience at the plate etc..

Nice easy 1-2-3 for Smoltz.  I fully expect him to shut us out and possibly go 9 innings.

I have Smoltz in the Forum H2H league so I won't mind a complete game shutout so much, since I'm facing Senators2005 this week.  Hmmm, he's pitching a perfect game, so far...We did do a number on him last spring.

I gotta get home - I wanna see those Va Tech caps.  A relative went there and I visited him at the time.  There are agricultural students there who can tell you about every breed of cow available and their strengths and weaknesses...

You're going to kill me tonight in H2H, you got Smoltz AND Glavine going tonight...but I got Smoltz in the Auto League.   ;)

another hanging curve ball.. LMFAO.  Jerome, please hit the showers.  Come on Manny, do you want us to lose 15-0 or just 8 or 9 to zero?

He's an alcoholic.  I think Bowden meets players and coaches at AAA meetings.  Players' agents got to be staking the place out.  Paige, Young...who else?

there is a simple formula to a good inning - get the first batter out. so while you're sitting in the dugout (while your team takes 3 swings and gets out of the inning) you look over who is due up - review how to pitch him and get him out!! now its 4-0 - OUCH!!!

Horrible.  He's lucky Smoltz is up and not a real hitter.  That hanging curve ball would have been drilled for a HR or double.

Thank you, Edgar Renteria.. He is such an awful player.  At least Smoltz won't shut us out now.. whew

edit: What the hell was Belliard doing?  Anyways, we better take out Jerome while the game is still relatively close.

Nice job Flo. 4-1. In other games, Westbrook is getting shelled like a turtle vs the Yankees. 7-1.
