Star Trek with a Lesbian captain and first officer... hmm. It has promise.

Honestly, pretty underwhelming. Not sure why they're going backwards in the timeline.

I'm five episodes through. The election day episodes were terrific.

Is it the 1st inaugural?     Was Monroe there (serious question)?    I couldn't find any indication she was there.

I was watching hi-lites of the spelling bee competition.    All I can say is keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste.    There's a 6 YO in the bee.

America's Cup Racing.... I remember when they were 60 foot tubs moving at 6-8 knots.

Now they are sailing catamarans... neither hull touches the water, they fly four or five feet above it on underwater foils. Boat are hitting 40+ knots.

It's worth watching a few minutes of it on NBCSP if you have a few extra. It's on now.

I watched a bit earlier today.  Very strange looking boats.

Fantastic looking (in the truest sense of the word). The speeds they achieve are unreal.

Yeah, the season started with some promise but I hated the last few episodes.

Did you catch any of the 30 on 30 "Best of Enemies?"  I only caught the last hour and a half (of 5 hours) but thought it was excellent, even if Bird did not hit his second 3 at the end of Game 4 in 1987.  Those were my teams of my 20s.  Without Celtics / Lakers and Magic and Bird, there is no explosion of basketball and Michael Jordan is a minor phenomenon.  The set up for the 87 season focuses a lot on Len Bias.

I've seen bits and pieces. Pretty riveting stuff. I like the alternating narration between Donnie Whalberg of the Boston POV and Ice Cube of the LA POV.

I am  three episodes into American Gods and so far like it a lot. Probably not for everyone but you will know after one episode if it is or isn't.
