MLB Network had Ken Burns Innings of Baseball on today.  It's been interesting to see 6 decades of baseball history all at one time.

If you have Netflix, "Bright" is... entertaining.

Watched that last night. Liked the premise. Not the greatest thing I ever watched but I didn't turn it off.

I enjoyed Westworld. Not a ton of action. Definitely a dark look at humanity. But a lot of intrigue and plot development.

Also, any time Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris are in something, you should probably see it.

The original "Westworld" was a pretty good movie.

Tonight's episode of the Goldbergs might have been the best one so far.

The PBS show Frontline has an interesting show this week on gang activity.  Down here, Frontline is shown on Tuesday night

60 Minutes had a great story of folks in a group in Michigan who were 1/2 Trump supporters & 1/2 liberals.  These folks have remained good friends for over a year despite having different views.

Loved that, just amazing that it warrants a tv segment you know? I mean when did it stop becoming ok to have friends who might have different views about certain things than you do?

It's definitely different living in DC when it comes to this issue.  Since politics is the industry, it's quite natural to have many friends with different political views and that never stops anyone from sharing one's life with those friends.  So when this group from Michigan got together, it was more representative of the country living outside the DC area.

But Skippy - I have yet to see the circumstance where it is not ok to have friends with different political views.  There are a few here in OBX that get too emotional about such topics.  But when I encounter those folks, I just make my statements in the form of a question to get their response.

I dunno, If you’re Muslim or Hispanic and a friend tells you they are a hardcore Trump supporter, it might give you pause.

I don’t think this is a matter of differing views on Tax Policy. It feels more visceral this time around.

Frankenstein Chronicles on Netflix. I enjoyed the first season. Interesting storyline and great acting. The second season not as much.

I also "enjoyed" most of the Patty Hearst series in CNN. Still haven't had a chance to see the first episode but the others were well done. Bill Harris is a piece of work for sure. Having been a teenager when it all transpired, it was quite interesting to learn more about it. I remember how shocked everyone was when she showed up with an automatic weapon at that robbery. Now she competes in the dog shows.

How about NOT See TV...

After watching for 10 minutes this morning, I can state with a great deal of confidence that the new ESPN show "Get up" with Greenberg, Beadle and Rose is pure, unadulterated garbage...

Haven't watched Channel 7/News Channel 8 or ABC in years.
