I can't stand Winston the person... but I think he's by far the best QB in this draft.

got to have a clause in his contract that withholds his bonus if he cannot stay out of jail for the length of the contract.

Soooo.... Bills just traded for Shady McCoy in exchange for Kiko Alonso.

Kiko is a beast, and I'll miss him... but the defense was great without him last year, so adding McCoy to the offense is a massive boost.

I was super surprised when I saw that, I think McCoy is terrific. Doesn't it seem as though Kelly is slowly getting rid of the players who made the Eagles good?

Seems like a salary and we can plug anybody in at running back in our offense move by the Eagles.
CJ Spiller to sign with the Eagles?
Looks like Rex is ready to run the ball 60 percent of the time and rely on his defense.  Shocking?

He believes in his system on offense and on defense they need a major upgrade to compete.  He basically traded someone who will make 10 million for someone who will make less than 1 million.  Time will tell if he made the right move.

TE jimmy Graham got traded to the seahawks for C Max Unger.  Good move for him as he seemed intimidated by the seahawks defense.

Sam Bradford to Philly for Nick Foles.

I was listening to KDKA on the link n2p gave in the Gameday thread and they indicated that the Steelers will hold on to him as long as they can.    Steelers will listen to offers from teams who need a safety.    Unfortunately, there's almost universal belief (from what I've read) that he's physically unable to be a productive safety.    They released Keisel.     Woodley was picked up by the Cardinals.

Hey.  He traded a white guy today for a redskin.  Oops I mean American indian. That's diversity.

My understanding is that the teams swapped first round pick also as part of the deal.  Might just be a prelude to trading up for Mariota (pacific islander).

I know about Foles but the ex-Inquirer reporter is so easy.     :)

That dude is a straight up clown. He apparently said this yesterday and today claimed he never meant to imply anything of the sort. I saw the video of today's piece where he says that McCoy, Jackson and Maclin are gone yet Cooper is still there so what else was he trying to inject but that these moves have been motivated by race? I think it's dumb that they got rid of all that firepower (and only someone as dumb as Slate would approve of those moves :stir:) but to pretend that he didn't mean to deal the race card is asinine. It's laughable that people like him can get away with this crap. Smith and Bayless serve as each other's "character witness" when they proclaim each other fair and open minded.

They're planning on trading Bradford plus their 1st and 3rd rounders to move up and get Mariotta.

Why would anyone want an expensive one year of Bradford and not Foles and a second rounder?

Revis to the Jets on a 5 year, $70MM deal with $39MM guaranteed and $48MM over the first 3 years.  Man knows how to get money out of this system.

Also, Pats decline Browner's option.  They will be without Wilfork, Browner, and Revis next year.  Siliga is back, and they are supposed to be in on Harvin and Reggie Bush as Vereen replacements.
