I've never done that. I've had jobs that have asked salary expectations in the application process, though.
Odd question: do you guys put your pay amount/scale on resumes? I've noticed a couple times now when looking at other's resumes that they do.
What's it take to get a job at an ABC store in Virginia?

You don't know/use SQL?
Just Microsoft SQL Server, I'm all over MySQL/Postgres. I'm sure I could figure it out, but living in a Microsoft world for developing software seems to me (coming from a more Linux-ish background) fraught with perils/delays/money.

I know these are basically new start-up roles for the team, so it would be pretty awesome for someone to get into! Edit: would also have to move to CO, which isn't the worst thing in the world!
If one of the questions is "Do you belong to WNFF?" I'd suggest they plead ignorance...
