They used another name...like "Travor" or something equally as stupid.

"I've put it behind me..."

Love that, especially considering it's all very much in front of him.

So if Trea Turner hits .500/.700/.900 and doesn't get a single error, can the Padres renege on the deal?

Think inviting him to big league camp was part of the agreement?

Better question: If he fractures his femur and blows out his knee, can we renege on it?

Rizzo said around the time of the trade that the Nats and Padres have agreed on a group of players. The Nats can choose any one of the players on that list. If something happens to Turner, they take one of the others.

Welcome, Trea. Ignore the blowhard needledick known as PC.

He should also ignore spidernat in all cases involving jinxing perfect games

Seems right for the second season of a "can't miss" prospect. Let's hope he's at Harrisburg by early July.

looking at the AA roster, it doesn't look like either of the other two short stops are prospects, so they may actually start him (which would be nice of them to give at bats to another team's prospect)

I suppose that if you like to deal with other teams, which the SD MO, you don't want to get the rep for shorting the other team. For a long time, Colorado would not deal with the Red Sox because they thought a deal in the mid-00s had a second component sending Larry Bigbie to the Sox and the Sox sending additional talent their way, but one of Epstein's underlings maintained that portion of the deal was never finalized.  SD does not give Turner reasonable time, then folks will be skeptical of the PTBNs in deals.

We could, but because he is still technically a PTBN, he would have to wear a mask.

That would be awesome, especially if his walkup music was "midnight rider."
