Does anyone have information on the free spring training tickets for season ticket holders.  What games? I believe it is 4 tickets but is that all for one game or can it be split?  When are the tickets available? Told my season ticket guy I might be interested but he is not usually on top of these things.

Thanks in advance.

The 1:00 Nationals / Barves game on March 6th @ ESPN Park at Disney will offer Suite Day In The Park tickets on an individual purchase basis - no need to buy the entire suite or a large portion of it.  Each ticket is $95.00, and tickets are made available at Will-Call or can be sent to you.

Indoor and outdoor seating; all you can eat ballpark food and drink provided (with a cash bar); and a Disney character visit to the suite for pictures with you and your group.

Gates open at 10:00am, and they also offer on-field passes for BP viewing / pictures and, if the players are so inclined, autographs for an additional charge.

If interested, PM me for the direct cell phone number and email address for the Disney ticket sales manager for information / purchase.

You will have a great time...we'll be there from the 5th thru the 12th.

I use this site to locate sections and rows in each stadium:

https://seatgeek.com/washington-nationals-tickets

...and this for the view from same:

http://aviewfrommyseat.com/venue/Space+Coast+Stadium/

I generally buy off of Stub Hub...

Thanks, VaRK.  I'll take a look.

Use your mouse wheel to zoom in on rows in each section on Seat Geek.

You can buy seats there too, but the price is before fees, generally...

It's four tickets for a single game. There is a special pre-sale code that you use to buy the tickets.

Greetings from Viera. It's 81 degrees and mostly sunny and, as usual when it's not spring training, there's nothing to do (we're going to see the new Hobbit flick tomorrow). Nothing has changed since last summer except the traffic lights have more flashing yellow arrows than they used to (a change for the better because the light on Stadium Parkway outside the neighborhood here used to make you wait forever for a green arrow).

So I take it you don't like golfing, fishing, paddleboarding, zip lining or surfing. Well, at least the Cineplex is nice, and if you don't like that one, there's another just south on 95 in Melbourne

I do like golfing but we didn't bring our clubs. Fishing, no. Tried fishing as a kid and only caught something once, the time we went deep-sea fishing. Don't know how to surf.

Sometimes it's just good to chill and do nothing.

Pretty much. I woke up and thought it was 7:00 and was surprised to see it was 9:00. Cloudy, windy day, good day to go to the movies and perhaps World of Beer afterwards. 3D showing of the Hobbit is only $10!

It's 68 outside and our relatives are wearing jeans and long sleeves and think we're crazy for wearing shorts because we think it's really warm.

I lived on Oahu for 8 years (my wife for 19) but we moved straight-away to Florida in 1985...so we had to adjust to the heat!   :mg:

Yes, they are completely free. You just have to use the code and "buy" them for $0.00 :D

did the change in the cost of living make up for it, or would you trade it all again for access to Leonard's malasadas?

Ha!  That and Zippy's drive-in...  :D

We left because the national economy went into the dumpster after the peanut farmer deregulated usury rates in late 1980.  It was especially felt in Honolulu where real estate prices were already high and wages already generally low.

We hung on for a while, but opportunities were scarce in Hawaii for years.  The east coast was experiencing a construction resurgence in 85.  It was time to go...

I would never live there again...it would drive me crazy...

Following up on the Auto Train discussion, we are on the train now waiting to depart Sanford. I took some video of the Superliner Bedroom if anyone's interested. Let me know and I'll upload it after we get home if anyone wants to see it.

Guy behind us at the car checkin is probably regretting taking the train: While we were all waiting on line, the woman behind him on line rear-ended him and damaged his bumper. Ugh.

How do they resolve an accident like that?     Swap info and move on?

Looked like it. They were swapping info after they checked in and drove up to the terminal. That makes some sense because it doesn't hold up the checkin line.

Amtrak goes around the car with a video camera to confirm any pre-existing damage, so the guy who got hit can't pin it on them!

Depends on the city. In Lynchburg, any private property accident not resulting in injury is not a police matter. It is up to the drivers to exchange contact and insurance information.
