That was a tough read but it needs to be caught in a game of this magnitude. He wasn't even close to where it landed.

Not to mention putting the games on putting the games on cable on relatively obscure networks. They need to make these games as simple to find as possible. They're not doing that.

Yep, treating baseball like a niche sport, baseball is too awesome to be treated like this :(

Big TV money now is more important to these guys than the long-term health of the sport.  When baseball stops being a easy cash cow, they'll all sell their teams and move on.  Ownership is just risk-free gambling with other people's money.

I would think that these games would be seen online for free considering it's the postseason and all games are on TV without restrictions. MLB is crap for charging people to watch these games online.

Like I said, it's just a bunch of fat cats getting fatter.  When the easy money dries up, they'll move on and MLB will be taken over by people who actually care about the health of the sport.  But it'll probably be too late by then.

Putting microphones on players is such a waste of time. And the announcers are still godawful.

Ernie and most especially Cal should never announce another game, ever, they SUCK. I remain in love with Ron Darling but he's clearly not the same without Gary and Keith.

Seriously MLB announcers who put the viewers to freaking sleep are not who should be doing playoff broadcasts!

How does Joe West umpire in what seems like every postseason series?

He supposedly grades out super high every year.
