It'll be interesting if we get a Baltimore/Kansas City ALCS, so we can see once and for all who's luckier between Ned Yost or the entire Brawltimore Oreos team.

Showalter always manages as if it's game seven. That gives Baltimore a huge advantage

I'm rooting for whoever can beat the Orioles. I'm guessing that's the Angels but I haven't seen these teams much.

Pretty much every team I have wanted to win has lost so far.

Brawltimore also has power, something the Royals don't have, assuming they take down the Halos (something I badly hope happens).

I'd love to see the Royals win the AL.  Not only does that mean it's not Brawltimore, but the Nationals' pitching could shred that lineup.

Holy crap, I didn't realize Yost was already re-using Ventura after the relief appearance.

Yost is an idiot.  I expect George Brett to manage in the WS if they make it.

Royals fans wake up everyday knowing they'll be out managed. Every single day, without fail.

On the flip side, if they live in KC they have Google Fibre and this:

Yost channeling Davey Johnson this postseason with this "starters as relievers" fetish.
so did Ariz when Randy Johnson went in for relief appearances.  You know.  When the yanks lost the WS

I remember there was a minor crapstorm here when Milwaukee signed Nori Aoki to such a reasonable contract instead of us. We were still hunting for the White Whale at the time and it seemed that Aoki could have been the answer. In any case, he's been a very solid player since coming over.

Two fantastic pitching performances by Shoemaker and Ventura. Now it's up to the excellent late-inning relievers for both teams.
