Well, he could have been more efficient. Six pitches for three outs, compared to Clippard's five....

Last night someone else added the "curly W" to this thread. Tonight, the pleasure is all mine!

Now to work out the remaining magic numbers...

Was THAT the Zimm whom a poster said was playing tomorrow? I thought it was the guy with ONE "n" in his last name!

Record now 89 - 64, .582 (with generous rounding up)

- A few games behind the 1924 team, which was 89 - 60 on September 23
- Well behind 1925 team, which was 89 - 49 in September 17 as Stan Coveleski beat the Tigers 1 - 0 in the second game of a true double-header
- Well behind the Wrecking Crew of '33, 89 - 46 on September 9 with a 3 - 2 win over the White Sox.

No I meant Zimmerman because I heard them say he would be activated for tonight's game.

I'll give somebody else the chance to do the gameday thread, but I just heard some news and saw tonight's line-up. Zimmerman's playing!

"Of course, Zimmermann is playing--it's his turn in the rotation! BTW, correct your spelling next time..."

There's nothing wrong with my spelling. RYAN ZIMMERMAN IS PLAYING LEFT FIELD TONIGHT!
