Ramos looked bad in that at bat.

That happens to him a lot.

Well, that inning tells us they've accepted the loss and they really want to get to the postgame spread.

mitlen what did you think about all the penalties in last night's game? If that trend continues they will ruin football even more. This is the second time Peyton Manning has been stymied in the playoffs that resulted in a strict enforcement of penalties against DB's.

At this point it's looking like it doesn't matter.

What I saw of it, I though it was a bit excessive.   I'm hopin' they're just setting the bar for pre-season and then let them play a little more in the regular season.

What kind of penalties?  I think football, like hockey, is under a lot of pressure to deal with the concussions thing.

If not a lot of offensive records will be shattered.

Mostly pass interference, defensive holding and crap that affects the passing game.

I think the NFL wants more offense (points).    It's not about the concussions.

I like low scoring football with one or two huge plays.

As if they aren't scoring at a record pace already! I guess they are trying to appeal to the casual fan. They just say freak the diehard fans like us who can appreciate good defense.
