Good save Soriano, I hope we never see you close a game again.

Way to close it out Heeman. You were not going to be denied. #SSSpower.

Thanks again Terry Collins for bunting .280 hitting Juan Lagares when Soriano couldn't buy an out.

The Mets announcers are pissed off. "The rule is just absurd." "Stupid." "That's ridiculous." "Clearly out."

Nothing for Collins to lose by trying. It's an umpire review so it doesn't cost a challenge.

Is it maybe time for Storen to go back to pitching the 9th?

Relax, it's the mutts. They'll find a way to lose and look that gift horse right in the mouth.
I'll just pat myself on the back.

Soriano blew it, Selig walked onto the field in Atlanta and awarded the Braves the World Series title

No, he's inconsistent too. Thornton.

The Mets announcers are praising Drew Storen. Man, I love the Mets announcers. They're willing to praise the other team, and they're willing to call the Mets out for bad play. Charlie and Dave level TV broadcasting.

We seriously have to start using someone else as closer before playoff time. This isn't going to cut it. Do we really want to piss away one of our last prime years on his arm?

Well Mariano has retired so you might have to lower your standards.
