Nor does going completely young mean its going to translate into wins.  I mean doesn't half this board complain already we are fielding an AAA team?

I'm not a member of that half. Even though presently they are performing like one.

I still think the Nats wives and girlfriends should put the players on the "pay for performance" plan. Hummers for homers is good. Hold outs for strikeouts is probably better.

we need to get the "hummers for homers" program started.

perhaps that will get the bats going...

Oh nevermind then... In that case maybe it should've never been brought up.

Francouer would be upset at you backing out after that laser.

Ray King is so, so f*cking awful.. Why do you give a first pitch strike to that idiot Francoeur??  And as a team, why in the f*ck do we throw strikes to that nag Francoeur?  He showed earlier why you don't need to throw strikes to get him out when he got embarrassed by Chico.

No because they would just go out and bunt every at bat.

Ray King is hurt.

This team isn't just cursed.  It's cosmically (or comically) cursed!

Yeah I think I've kept my pooches waiting for their nightly walk far too long considering the outcome of this game. Hopefully we'll get'em next time.

See you guys around.

Good, I hope King is out for the rest of the season.  He is horrendous at pitching an even worse at fielding.  LMAO, if we couldn't score against Hudson we sure as hell aren't going to score against Chuck James or Smoltz.  Mark my words, James is going to shut us out tomorrow.

No, we came into the season with few seasoned players and a load of injury prone or cast off players.  The rest are just mediocre ballplayers, not Gods.  Truly, this is the type of team that the Indians in "Major League" were supposed to be.

(Speaking of which, I got the new "Wild Thing Edition" DVD today.)

One bright spot this year i guess is we haven't been shut out this season, yet...

You're jinxing it to happen.  racab started Hudson against me tonight in the Forum's Head-2-Head fantasy league.  I racked up 27.17 points with Robertson's won over the Oreo-less tonight, but Hudson is gonna give him 29 with the win, so he'll still have a big lead on me...

We may lose this game but Chico is making progress ans saving us a pile of money.

Police in Germantown, MD found a 5-year-old girl running a day-care center with 7 toddlers today, with the unlicensed adult out at a shopping center...  amazing and disgusting... CAN THAT GIRL PITCH?

WHEN will SOMEBODY in the Nationals organization figure out that Franceour will swing a JUNK if you would only serve it up to him?  WHEN?

Again, we hit it exactly where they are.  They barely have to move.

Great. Now Sutton is telling us about how Cox has been so successful.

It doesn't matter how hard we hit the ball, it is always an out.

At least Jones had to move.

Of course, that would have been over Church's head.

The Nats have piled up an astonishing 18 runs in 8 games for an average of 2.25 runs per game this season.  In the last 4 games they have tallied 3 runs in 4 games for an average of 0.75 runs per game.
