Flande - 12 ER in 14.2 innings, 7.36 ERA.

Great night to pad stats.

Mike Minor is getting crap all over right now. Jacob Turner doubles and then Yelich knocks him in with a single.

5-2 Marlins in the top of the 4th. Need to keep scoring though because Turner can't pitch.

freak stats. We need to pad our lead in the division. Let's run away with this thing and if it takes bringing in reinforcements then trade for them. We need to win the World Series this season.  :whip:

He's terrible. I was at the game he pitched at Nats Park earlier in the season and that was he best outing lol.

Wish they had benched LaRoche tonight though. No pop vs LHP, no reason to bat him #4.

Man I don't understand how we're not up by 6 games in the division on the braves.

:lmao:  how did he sound?
Not terrible but the content was pretty goofy. Was talking about how hard Stanton hits the ball.

Pad stats = lots-o-runs = win = division lead padding.

While it's funny, I can't rip a man for getting his dollars. I still remember his first at bat as a Nats in 2005.

Preston Wilson :hysterical:

Don't laugh, he was our big bat we got to propel us down the stretch to the playoffs, remember?    :?

Not necessarily. You can pad stats and lose 15-13. Also, you can win without padding stats and I prefer to win.

We had to get MLB permission to fork over the money to acquire a bat.

Well that's insightful, I would have never guessed.

Good idea, bunt with the third baseman in. Should work out well.

Ok, fine, let's hope we don't pad our offensive stats.  We'll stand a much better chance of winning if we don't.
