Stadium Cheers

Section 313 cheers after every run "N-A-T-S Nats, Nats, Nats, Whooo!"  Let's put it on the scoreboard and have all the fans join in with the Nat Pack leading it, too.  It would be a great, unique part of our tradition.  The section is so good at waiting for the initial mania to abate and not interfering with the next batter's song.

Not like anyone here has the power to implement this anyway.

Nats can do better than to copy the J-E-T-S :spaz:

The folks in 313 sure seem to have a good time. Don't they get Dave to spell things during the game?

Although with split loyalties they are bound to overlap at times.  :?

But, can "traditions" be contrived?

I'm not sure if this is a stupid idea but if it is  ...   it fits right in.    :)

My (full season attendee) friend in 314 couldn't confirm or deny your hypothesis on the spelling thing.

I sit in 312. Haven't joined in on the chants, but my wife does. What kills the chant for me is the woo at the end.

Maybe they knew you would be there so they decided not to do it and risk being corrected in case of a misspelling?

Well they do that little "bing" sound when Dave gets it right.  I would have a nasty buzzer thing if they misspelled a word.  I'm all for constructive feedback.  Too bad I can't hook little electrical charges up to zap offenders real time.

I'm in 311 and I enjoy doing the chant - it's just one of those silly things that's fun and gives a local flavor to the game. I like doing the "Jose" chant for Jose Lobaton too.

I guess that makes me a Non-Serious Baseball Fan - imagine actually wanting to have fun at a game.   :oldy:

I like the "Willll-son" thing for Ramos too.  Since I'm not an NFL fan (just a Redskins fan only  ) I had no idea that was a Seattle football thing until informed here.

I'm a big fan of that dude with the microphone saying God knows what during the game. Is that your section or one over?

That's crazy talk!

Like to hear the chant, I think it belongs to 313, you'd have a hard time translating that to the entire stadium though.

All traditions are contrived - seriously.

Yes, he's usually in our section - he announces pitching changes, always accompanied by a pronouncement of how many beers he plans to drink after the game - usually it's several hundred, especially during a bad game.   :mg:

Fantastic. Is he a STH? I always see him. He forgot his microphone last game and improvised with a pencil  :hysterical:
