Roark is getting worse and worse with every start.  He's turning into Jason Simontacchi right before our eyes.
This is the pitcher that lost 17 games in AAA in 2012. It was a good story but let's be honest, AJ Cole is taking his spot probably sometime in August.

How many of those 17 AAA games did you watch?

All he had to do was get the pitcher out. Oh well, hopefully they can break out vs Hammel even though they never have before.

I wonder how soon is too soon to suspect that Roark is serving up batting practice pitches.  I'm not going to run him down, because pitchers have off days and his half-season has been effective.  Sometimes pitchers will buckle down after being shaky early, but he's looking like he's having a very hittable morning.  How bad does it get before you pull the plug?

Bad Anthony. This batting order makes no sense.

Rendon should have teed off on that 0-0 breaking ball.

No he shouldn't have. That's not a pitch he can drive. He should've teed off on the one he GIDP.

Anybody know what the patch is on the right breast of the uniform? Both teams seem to have it on. I can make out "75" but that's it.

He could have easily hit it into LF for a hit.

This team has been hitting way too many easy ground ball DPs recently. Too easy on the opposing pitcher. :damn:

He killed that ball just right at Castro. No problem with that.

Ruggiano opposite field homer to RF??!!

Get Roark out of there. He needs a one way trip to Syracuse.

If the Nationals are going to play at this ungodly hour, they should play against a west coast team, where they have a real time advantage.

Otherwise play the game at 7pm. like usual.  That's better than having them sleep through the game and lose to a team like the Cubs.

For two straight bad starts against the same team? Ridiculous.

Do you remember how bad Taylor Jordan was?
