freak this crap. Strasburg vs Leake should have been a win. Not going to beat Cueto tomorrow. Now looking at a home sweep against a struggling Reds club.

Let's at least finish this game before we wave the white flag on the next 2, shall we?

Reminder that the Reds are playing without Bruce and Votto.

Cost us a run because of stupidity. It was clear he was going to strike the batter out. Why make a risky throw like that??
4th   T Frazier scored, B Pena out at second on runner's fielder's choice.
5th   S Schumaker singled to center, Z Cozart scored, B Hamilton to third.

              Cincinnati Redlegs        2
Washington Nationals  0

McLouth is so freaking bad. 5 scoreless innings  vs Leake is unacceptable.

Brandon Phillips with a lackadaisical throw to 1B there. We won't make them pay.

McLouth doesn't even swing with the pitcher behind him. That's brainless.
Based on his 2013 stats, nobody would have seen this coming.  In 2012, McLouth played 34 games for Pittsburgh, with a BA/OBP of .140/.210.  He was traded to the Orioles, where his BA/OBP was .268/.342 in 2012 and .258/.329 in 2013. He had 12 HRs in 536 AB for Balimore last year.

McLouth's BA/OBP with the Nationals is now .113/.241.  Age 32 slump?

Then we're assured of a Canada sighting tonight...

Typical Strasburg game. He allows 5 base runners through 5 but our pathetic offense has only 3 hits and a defender makes yet another crappy play on this fundamentally terrible baseball team.

When Harper and Zimmerman come back hopefully the McLouth experiment ends. He is freaking awful.

He did so well with extended playing time last year with Baltimore. damn shame he can't do anything here.
