We really could lose 130 games this year.  Buster Olney was right.  I'm sorry I haven't been chiming in this year, but the competitive portions of the game have been over so quickly that I.......well I.........I just haven't even gotten mad yet.  It's as if I know what's coming so I don't get worked up.  How many times can my head explode from our lack of hitting with RISP?

Well, one good thing about a blowout.  You don't feel so bummed like the O's fans today with A-Rod's grand slam.

I knew we wouldn't be great but I figured we would be semi-competitive like we were last year.  I hate to say it but I miss Ortiz, Armas, and Livan.  They are better than what we got right now.  Everyone killed Olney when he said that we would lose 130 games but right now it looks like he knew what he was talking about all along.

Pedro will be back in the rotation by the end of the month.

Great effort at the plate Fick.  That's the type of thing that pisses me off.  Acta needs to light a fire under these guys' asses.  They are playing so lackadaisical, it's really a shame.

I fit makes you feel any better Armas gave up 6 runs on 8 hits and 5 walks in 4 innings today for Pittsburgh.

I can visualize crowds of about 6,000 on some weeknights.  Of course, they will be announced at 16,000 but it will be empty.

This team will take hits in every aspect of it due to the horrid play of this year.  Prepare to deal with it.  Suck it up.

All I wanted this season was for the Nats to play hard, play smart and play like professionals.

I was prepared for the losing, just not the embarassment this team has been thus far. They aren't doing any of the above.

It'll be like they're back in Montreal.

it actually took us years to get to that number, like the last couple of years. Montreal used to draw big crowds for a number of years, even when we weren't so competitive we had decent size crowds. But in the 2000s, crowds dropped after we became less competitive and firesale after firesale...
