He had a pinch between  when they beat the Cards. But reports are it's not snuff.

And Span continues to give away outs.  If he's batting 7th or 8th his wasted outs don't matter as much.  His ability to make contact in a way that often results in outs, is better used with someone on base.  Due to holding runners, etc.  And his speed makes a DP less likely.  I can NOT believe that he's still leading off.  And in every game that he does, it illuminates Williams' lack of baseball acumen.  Sad and preventable.
