Syracuse Line- up
« Topic Start: March 24, 2014, 02:30:50 PM »
Would anyone other than myself like to predict the starting position players for the Chiefs?

C-Solano
1B - Petersen
2B Kobernus
3B -Skole
SS - Walters
LF- Souza
CF-Goodwin
RF- M.Taylor

I think that this maybe the first year that the Chiefs have fielded a team not made up of AAAA players. The majority are players on the 40 man and have seen little if any time in the bigs.

I would think Goodwin starts in Double A.

I would not be surprised if Taylor is back in AA in CF.  Also, I think the loser of Moore / Carroll / Espinosa will be in the line up.  Maybe Kobernus in left and Souza in right.

I see Carroll retiring if he doesn't make the show.
Didn't Kobernus play 2nd also?

yes, he came up as a 2d baseman, but they are trying to make him more versatile.

Taylor in CF in Harrisburg is my guess.

I guess is Moore is sent down, he'd play left and Kobernus 2d.

The mystery guy is Petersen and where does Laird fit in?

If this guy is related to Melvin or Bruce, then I guess he'd be here for Defense.

If it were Melvin, then I would say he probably could hit bombs.

Taylor was optioned to Harrisburg, which means that Goodwin will start in Syracuse because they both need time at CF  Perez should be in LF.

Skole will probably start in AA  because he only played a couple games there.

Any real Washingtonian would know he's related to Gordon.

We now have Moore at first . I think Petersen is DFAed. Also Emanuel Burris will fill in at 2B and I am not sure where that leaves Kobernus. Perez could be off the 40 man due to Frandsen signing and Kobernus getting time in LF. You really have to like where the Chiefs are roster wise compared to previous years.
