It's basically an Onion article. Top Gear is behind the times? Pretty sure they're pulling in great ratings.

Bahaha the prime minister is commenting.

It's so embarrassing that he's felt the need to come out all chummy and suck up to him...I'm almost positive that there are bigger fish to fry in the world than Jeremy Clarkson giving one of his producers a swift right hand to the chops.

is it not on netflix?

Man, some of the early episodes like the winter olympics and the reliant robin space shuttle are absolute classics.

I think Nathan's suggesting that since their contracts end rather soon, the two presenters with jobs join Jeremy in the 'Not BBC any longer' club and go convince Netflix to pick up a Top Gear reboot.  Same show, same format, new name and Netflix gets the $300 million.

Yes, that's what I was suggesting.  350 million viewers worldwide, that's quite an audience.

About 20,000 signatures for the petition to hit 1 million.  Apparently the Stig is taking it to the BBC tomorrow

Top gear without clarkson would be like Seinfeld without George.

More like the 3 Stooges without Curly...tough act to follow...

Clarkson sacked

-

It is understood a report into the so-called ‘fracas’ at a North Yorkshire hotel, concluded that presenter spent 20 minutes verbally abusing producer Oisin Tymon, before launching a 30 second physical assault on him.

The outburst came after Clarkson, who is one of the BBC’s best paid stars, was informed he could not have steak and chips after a day’s filming because the hotel where they were staying had stopped serving hot food.

So he abused and assaulted his producer for 20 minutes over not being able to get a steak room service? I...uh...wow.

reports are that BBC wants to continue the show without him and that they have a formula 1 driver lined up as a replacement.

Good luck with that.

Guys work long day on little food, go to bar and get to' up, drunk guy argues with coworker that he can only have a cheese plate.

This just seems so wildly exaggerated on both sides.

Do they not realize that that is basically what American Top Gear is?
