The Winter Olympics just don't get me amped up like the Summer ones do, but I was watching a bit of ice skating with the wife last night and that 15 year old Russian was spectacular.
She is incredible but seriously, am I the only person on earth who finds the Winter Olympics way more thrilling than the Summer games??
Dutch twins #1/#3 in the men's 500m long track...oh, and who won silver? A Dutch guy. Guess all those centuries of skating on canals paid off.
Yeah...could be some interesting dynamics in that team going forward.
The King & Queen are there to cheer on the Dutch skaters.
I assume the King had the Queen pick up the bill for the trip.
Curling started today. I'm probably the only one, but I think it's my favorite winter sport.
After the 2010 CILFs sensation, there really aren't many obscure winter sports that only get shown at odd hours.
The biathlon would be better if it was downhill skiing
Even the twin that finished #3 looked pissed to have not won. Looked like there could be some tense moments with the Dutch.
As I recall, back in 2006, it was mentioned that at least one of the women's curling teams made a swimsuit calendar. That why you like it?
