Two pork chops. What do?

Maybe rub with crushed garlic and some good mustard? Let them sit an hour then grill? Or do in the oven?

One of our Caps season ticket partners loves to bake and my wife asked her to make my birthday cake for the third year running. She dropped it off this morning. Past two years were Caps-themed, but she rightly determined they were not deserving this year:

I recently discovered one of my really good friends wants to try balls so I told her next time we're together and Rocky mountain oysters are on the menu I'll foot the tab.

It was awesome, the bacon fat infused into the chicken breast keeping the meat super moist and gave the chicken a taste half bacon/half chicken. It was super easy to make but made me look like a grill hero amongst my friends.

Bacon wrapped meatloaf with garlic mashers is proof positive that cholesterol is good.

Wife made fettuccine alfredo with chicken. Only she cooked the chicken in the bacon grease from the bacon that she cooked. And then that bacon was put in the alfredo and sprinkled on top of the pasta.

Go to the ER stat and ask for a heart scan. I'm sure all your arteries are blocked.

Neighborhood BBQ today...pot luck...right in front of our house.

Always a good time, and good food.  The fella across the street is the head chef.

The best part is seeing all the little ones having a good time on the bouncy toys they bring in...

How does one grill vegetables? I'm pretty good with meat, but never tried something like corn or asparagus.

Wrap them in foil I think.

I keep our corn on the cob in the husk and soak in water w/a little salt & a little sugar added to it for probably about 1/2 hour and throw them on the grill a couple minutes before our steaks go on, turn them once and take them off with steaks and they're always perfect, just have to be careful peeling the husk for all the steam that'll come out when you do.  Of course peppers and onions I just put on skewers for just a couple minutes cooking time because I like them crunchy, I haven't tried asparagus on the grill yet but I'd love any recipes for that anyone may have because it's my new favorite vegetable.

It's really easier than you think.
1.  Before starting grill, spray grill rack with butter or oil (I like olive oil)
2.  Lightly spray oil and spice the vegetables (Pepper, Salt, Garlic, or whatever spice you want)
3.  Grill on low, closing the grill cover to help heat more thoroughly

One can "grill" veggies in the oven too.  Same directions except don't spray oven with butter oil. Spray & spice veggies in pan and bake high or broil

Corn is a little different, for the husk is so thick.  Better to wrap in foil or as Skippy mentioned

i have a veggie grilling tray, it is about a 10" square, non-stick, raised sides, with large holes to enable easily grilling small veggies without having them fall through the grates.

grilled broccoli is really good.  I've done asparagus as well and it always comes out.  Another favorite is yellow squash, sliced longways into thin strips, and marinated in some olive oil and balsamic vinegar before grilling.
