Braves getting no-no'd yesterday (by four Phillies pitchers, led by Hamels with six innings)...so sweet....

is pulling a pitcher with a no no intact breaking an unwritten rule? someone needs a ball in the back

Yes, and fans just can't handle that sort of stress.  There'd be a lot more team no-hitters if pitchers were replaced as needed rather than keeping the starter in there  gassed hoping for a statistical nicety.

In other words, everyone (managers, players, fans) gets hung up on the no-hitter and forgets about just winning the game and pacing pitchers for the full season.

He threw 108 pitches. Honestly, is there a reason he should have gone out and tried to throw a no hitter on 150 pitches? It's one thing if your in a pennant race or looking for the big contract. It's another if you're not.

He's faced the Nationals for years. :hysterical:

What's with him being the Nationals' biggest fan lately? Maybe he wants his legacy to be hitting Bryce Harper with that pitch.

Somewhere?  Don't you mean in Springfield, Virginia, the greatest city in America (because nobody talks to each other, according to barvesfan).

Was there much of a turn-out by the Lobotomised Legion last night? Can't recall hearing any tomahawk-chop chanting on last night's radio broadcast.

There were some but not a large legion, and there was nothing to chop about.
