Yeah that's what I meant. To me, that means they're still pushing for a new one.

My son's at VCU and he was telling me about Shockoe Bottom (night life).    He mentioned the baseball stadium idea being floated around.   Of course, there's gonna be a lot of political BS in the discussions so I'm not buying tickets just yet.   :)

I get the feeling that nothing ever happens in Richmond.

Reading the Times Dispatch, I find it amazing (not really) that Wilder still has his fingers in the stew in Shockoe.    I understand the desire to have a National Slave Museum but Wilder has proven that he's a sham   .....   we need to jettison his ass.

I forgive you...I am a card carrying, right wing, conservative, Reagan republican, and I voted for warner for governor.  Evemn contributed to his campaign.  He was much better in that role than his present one...

I'm so far left Obama is a neo-con.   However, I voted for John Warner and Robb.   I like the middle governing.

The 18 years I lived in Richmond, Wilder was always pitching something.  Just feel like this time it's actually going to work.

Times Dispatch a few days ago  ..   "Richmond Mayor Dwight C. Jones and city officials are pressing for the creation of the slavery heritage site as part of a rehab project anchored by a new baseball stadium in Shockoe Bottom, in an area that encompassed one of the largest slave markets in the antebellum South."
The way that I read that is, that there's nothing going on, but hopes and dreams.
