Should bat Stras 9th.   He'd be as productive.

Ladies and Gentlemen:  Your Designated Hitter, Chad Tracy and his .177 average  :lmao:

At least Lombardozzi can lay down a bunt.  I want Cabrera moving that wide load as much as possible especially with a bad hip.

Look at his home/road split.

it's worse, here's his line against RHP: .157 / .194 / .281 (93 PAs)

Oddly, in 7 PAs against LHP, he's batting .429

Why Chad Tracy. Why. I'd so much rather have Lombo or Tyler Moore back in the DH or something.

If you're gonna bat Tracey 9th, why not Lombo?  Frankly, this is the time to put Span at the 9 spot...

Davey is addicted to Tracy. you knew he'd bat him in the DH spot. Sucks man.

Then again if Lombo, Bernie, etc were hitting like last year they'd probably be playing. And Hairston would be playing if we were facing a LHP.

Lombardozzi has a better BA, OBP, Slugging and OPS than Tracy.

OT, today is the rare day when there are 17 games played, full schedule plus 2 double headers.
