I would have rather seen him come through with RISP all the times he did this weekend and been no hit on Sunday rather than see him take Kershaw deep twice.

He quit Saturday night. That was a winnable game. Yesterday's wasn't.

I watched him carefully Saturday in the outfield. Hands on hips, not moving an inch, and after the play was done, hands still on hips, standing in the same spot.

Last time at bat Saturday took a called strike three and walked back to the dugout so slowly that they almost sent out a coach to get him.

I don't mean to get on him in general but Saturday he definitely had an attitude, and though I'm glad he came yesterday with a good attitude, if he had brought that with him Saturday we may have won that game.

That call still gives me chills. If I need to get pumped it's a tough choice between this and a Ray Lewis pep talk.

Time for Werth to show his leadership skills. Can't let the team implode. Even if they're out of it, they need to play with pride and professionalism. Werth won't tolerate a bunch of thumb sucking whiners.

2010 is clearly the career year...I doubt that Werth will make it to 25 homers by the end of the season

No one said he isn't having a damn good season or that he's not doing his job. It's just not a career year. This is the type of year we were expecting out of Werth when he signed here.

I agree, I'm just saying he's not having a career year. He's having his best year as a Nat though that's for sure. Back-to-back 2 homer games is unreal.
