Lombo is the perfect guy for the role he's in now. Not gonna kill ya for a short period of time at multiple positions if pressed into action, though he doesn't jump off the page at ya in terms of ability.  Every team needs a couple guys like that.

if well means barely average, at best, at his primary position, then yes, he fields well.  If it means strong range, then no.

Basically, those who have the best hit, plate discipline and defense tools in their organization tend to become pretty good major leaguers.
