That should be an error on Ryan Zimmerman

Why did Harper gun it to 3B when the runner was basically standing on 2B and not moving?? Incredibly dumb.

Zimmerman can't throw but at least his glove is sound.

Horrendous start by Gio, and of course Harper compounds it with an error.

A shame when 2-0 in the 1st is game over vs a guy making his second start. But we all know what the stats are once we get behind in a game this year..

To keep him from going to third?

That looked like Zimm's error to me.

This team looks criminally ill-prepared every single game.

We've come back from 2 runs down one time this year and that's our biggest comeback so far.

Frankly neither guy distinguished himself on that play.

Is Zimmerman such a wussy that he can't get in front of the ball and block it? You HAVE to do that in that situation, not ole it and watch it go into the stands.

No excuse for Gio to look like this. Mechanics out of whack, can't throw the ball anywhere close to the zone. This is not acceptable. He is not some random bum from the Minors.

Seriously...

He was halfway into the infield and it didn't make it in the air to first base. I'm just kidding around. I know he's a great fielder

Sounds like a winner.

I also put a shot of triple sec in the tequila concoction, just cause I had it handy.

that was one of the worst pitched innings I've ever seen by Gio.  We'll be lucky if he gets through 3 innings I think

LaRoche chasing ball 4. Nats letting the rookie settle in and get comfortable.
