Whatever's in that video I'm sure I've seen worse.  Regardless, it's not gonna stop me from enjoying chicken or beef every kind of way I can come up with to cook it ;)

I've seen worse, myself.  There is a video circulating out there of monkeys with microchips implanted into their skulls, etc.  Freaks me out.

Thats why I don't eat monkeys.

There is animal cruelty in slaughterhouses. It's a well-known fact.

Same goes for genetic manipulation. 95% of the food we eat has been modified genetically. Same goes for meat.

If by "genetically modified" you mean "selectively bred" then you're right, otherwise your 95% figure is about as wrong as it is possible to be.

They even FORCE animals to have (S-E-X.)  It becomes confusing when they are willing participants.  Here's an example:

A farmer wanted to have his hens serviced, so he went to the market looking for a rooster. He was hoping he could get a special rooster - one that would service all of his many hens.  When he told this to the market vendor, the vendor replied, "I have just the rooster for you. Henry here is the horniest rooster you will ever see!"

So the farmer took Henry back to the farm. Before setting him loose in the hen house though, he gave Henry a little pep talk. "Henry", he said, "I'm counting on you to do your stuff." And without a word, Henry then strutted into the hen house.  Henry was as fast as he was furious, mounting each hen like a thunderbolt. There was much squawking and many feathers flying, till Henry had finished having his way with each hen. But Henry didn't stop there, he went in to the barn and mounted all the horses, one by one and still at the same frantic pace. Then he went to the pig house where he did the same.

The farmer, watching all of this with disbelief, cried out, "Stop, Henry, you'll kill yourself." But Henry continued, seeking out each farm animal in the same manner.  Well the next morning, the farmer looked out and saw Henry lying there on his lawn. His legs were up in the air, his eyes rolled back, and his long tongue hanging out. A buzzard was already circling above Henry.

The farmer walked up to Henry saying, "Oh you poor thing, look what you did, you've gone and killed yourself. I warned you big buddy."

"Shhhhh," Henry whispered, "The buzzard is getting closer."

If you eat plants, then it's been modified genetically with gene cloning to have resistance to certain insects or drugs. I just learned about it in my Biology class. They are selectively bred as well to maintain that inheritance, but almost every plant you eat has been changed in some way. The "organic" ones may not even be that.

Meat products are different but I'm sure that some have been modified. Bred too;  I agree with you.

When I was in ninth grade biology, there was a big deal about the Flavr Savr tomato, which was the first genetically engineered food or plant.  Has it become that widespread in the ten years since?

Genetically modified crops have increased in abundance, I'll give you that, but I still feel quite certain that it's nowhere near 95% of the total U.S. stock.  Also, there are NO genetically modified animals on the market that are not labeled as such, and certainly not 95% of them.  Just because an animal may have eaten genetically modified crop food at some point does not mean that the animal is genetically modified.  Also, it's fairly unlikely that expensive consumer-oriented GM crops would be wasted on animal feed to begin with.  I DO recall hearing about milk cows begin genetically modified to produce more/better milk, but I'm not sure the status of that development, and milk is not a meat, so I don't consider it here.

Now I will fully admit that I am shooting from the hip here using my own personal knowledge and have no links or documents to back up what I say, but at the same time I honestly don't care all that much, so if you really want to prove to me that 95% of anything in this country is genetically modified, the burden of proof is all on you.  Personally I wouldn't suggest wasting your time though, because even if you're right all I'm going to do is go "hey, how about that" and go back to eating my cheeseburgers ;)
