Aaron Barrett was a 9th round pick in 2010 out of Ole Miss.

I thought Davis was a heavy sinker and groundball guy

He is.

52.5% GB rate this year. But also the high K rate. Pretty impressive.

Also, is it me or does Erik Davis feel (and look) like the next Tyler Clippard.

(Image removed from quote.)

To those that follow Harrisburg closely which starting pitcher would be best to go see throw?  I've yet to go to a game and would lime to see some one with big league potential.

Thanks for any help.

Brandon Miller might be our best power hitting prospect. He's slugging .500 with 9 HRs and 17 2Bs. He strikes out too much but his power has to be considered a plus tool.

I believe he led the country in homers in 2012.

Zach Walters in AAA has put up some odd power numbers too. His power has surged but his OBP/BA have completely tanked then again he has never been one to walk often.

10 HRs and 11 Doubles but 8 BBs/54 Ks and a .211 BA/.245 OBP.

He isn't the typical SS when it comes to hitting, but he is actually pretty typical (meaning GOOD) defensively.  Has range and a big arm.  Like to see him get a chance...somewhere.

Has a good changeup. And his fastball has played up as a reliever.

i've always liked the guy.  he's nothing more than swing man in the pen/5th starter/spot starter type, but i'm glad he's hung around the organization.  davey said he was thinking of calling him up over Karns, but the dates didn't match up well.

[annie] i know why you like him ... b/c his last name starts with an O [/savoy]

In his 6th year of professional baseball, he's going to finally make his major league debut.  He's had a tough row to hoe (having his face blown up by that liner and all the subsequent surgeries), but he's finally reached the show.

Congratulations Erik!

A fail for the FTP project.  No one ever started a thread.

I'll do the honorable thing.

Sweeping club wide changes.  I like it.  Shake things up and hopefully watch the changes unfold.

I liked Weaver, he was a 7th round pick out of Georgia in 2009. Had 16 saves in 2010 with Hagerstown then struggled last year between Hagerstown/Potomac and then injuries.
