Are there meds that can help you with this? :)
Stras is a special talent. And that's why I'll say he sucks 1 million times this year, because I expect  perfection.

Put it this way - if he pitches 6 innings of shutout ball, I start SCREAMING for Davey to take him out so that his ERA can't possibly go up in the 7th inning. And then if he comes out for the 7th, I get angry and stop watching.

Just wait man. Keep checking on the prices and if you see something that suits your need and budget jump on it. If not, wait until the last minute to purchase one as ticket prices plummet. You can always find a bargain outside the stadium, even for the opener.

I actually may not be able to do opening day as much as I want to. Might wait until the first week of June for better weather and seats. Probably a Saturday game. Definitely want to do a meet up though.

I would be glad to. Especially if he's a good navigator.

You might have to settle for "entertaining conversationalist" or "junk punch magnet".

Fair enough. He's in Hagersburg right? I'll pick him up at the Sharpsburg Pike McDonalds  or at the AC&T.

Just requested the day off.  And since I work from home, by that, I mean I told my boss, I'm not taking any appointments that day.

I put in for leave the day the schedule was announced last Fall.  My boss already knows that OD is a religious holiday in the Church of Baseball, and knows that if I don't get my religious leave approved, I'll come down with a severe case of Red Seam Fever that day.   I'll get there early and spend all day soaking it up - haven't missed an OD yet.

The first sip of the first beer of the first day of the season - ahhhhhhhh.

I'll do my traditional Find a spot to Park at Vienna Metro early.   Take Orange line to Ballston and go to the IHop for a good breakfast and read the paper.   Get back on the train and get to the park by the time gates open.   Take in the store. By a program.   See if anyone else I know is there.

Taking a group of 12 in a big van that one of my partners can get. Meeting at my house in Falls Church at 10:30. Got a parking pass for Lot P. Hoping to do some tailgating there. No grilling or anything. Just drinks and sandwiches.

Will go in early (around 12:45) to beat the crowd and check out the festivities. Watch Stras dominate. Go home and get ready for the next game.

Mark Zuckerman ‏@ZuckermanCSN
#Nats announce Opening Day festivities. They don't include Obama, but Teddy Roosevelt's great-great grandson will announce "Play ball."

Also, CBS' James Brown will perform his annual butchering of the #Nats player intros on Opening Day.

More from Zuckerman:

The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by former Staff Sergeant Clinton L. Romesha, who received the Medal of Honor for some truly heroic acts in Afghanistan.

I plan on getting in early.   (Hammonds, this does not mean the 3rd inning)

Who's up for a Loft meetup?
