Games you are going to - 2013 Nats Park Roll Call
« Topic Start: February 08, 2013, 01:53:52 AM »
Are you going to be watching at home, going to the game, taking radio to work or going to a bar to watch it etc?

I am taking April 1st off and treating it like a holiday. But getting up early, getting a good breakfast and then taking in our game at 1:00 before watching about 10 solid hours of baseball.

Probably will grill some steaks if its warm... Oh yes and crown royal will be flowin

Taking the day off after getting back from spring training so that I can get there as early as I want. In the past we've done big tailgates, with the grill fired up and a couple dozen people or more. This year I just bought two tickets down behind the Nats dugout. The group sales thing was too much of a pain in the ass, so my friends and co-workers can get their own tix if they want to go.

Waited 28 years for baseball to come back here and haven't missed a home opener yet - I'm GOING!!!

May turn up a bit early to check out the beer offerings in the 300's and the Red Porch...and wonder to myself 'what are they going to run out of in the fourth inning at THIS season's opener'?

1) Making sure my seat is as comfortable as last year
2) Welcoming Denard Span to CF
3) Enjoying the first of many more days at the ball park in 2013

Hot chocolate.  It'll probably be 38 degrees.

Planning to bring a group of 20+ even though they're not selling group tickets for OD at this time. I don't know if they sold group tickets earlier but I know they did last year.

Waiting for the STH presale and hoping there's no limit on the number of tickets.

I'm going to attend this game even if I have to hustle the tickets off of a scalper.

Couch.  Probably a pizza.  Can't rule out a pot roast, though.  I'll watch Field of Dreams, too.  Not sure yet whether or not it'll be before or after the game.

I'm out of a job and if I can  ...  I'm gonna be there and see Stras pitch the home opener.   If I can't get there, I'm goin' to DPM's house.   :P

I'm a *61 guy myself. But only after big wins.

Taking the day off from work like usual. Hopefully it's warmer this year like it was for that opener vs the Phillies (:spaz:) a few years ago.

I always take the day off.  But the vacation day hasn't been approved at work.  Gonna have to call in.  Don't tell anyone, alright?  Then it's 10 hours of baseball.
