People could come and see the shipping crates, The Hole and dirt parking lots. I guess without the concrete plant there won't be much for the kids
I like that "The Hole" has been there so long that there's a full size tree grown in it.

I'm just baffled Cinci's getting it again.  I thought it'd be Miami if not the Nats.

Loria's not getting an All Star game. Even Bud couldn't take that media storm.

WTF, apparently I was remembering wrong anyway.  I thought they had it in 2005 or '06, but those were in Detroit and Pittsburgh.

Bud survived steroids and the 2002 ASG and the Expos/Nats MLB ownership debacle and just about every other crapstorm to hit MLB.  He'd just turtle into whatever hole he crawls in whenever MLB faces any scrunity.

Used car salesman

I had originally written "used" but changed it because I wasn't sure.   Didn't wanna post a falsehood on the internet.   We all know the rules.  :P

Cincinnati last hosted it in 1988 - they're about due - it'll also be the first ASG for Great American Bandbox (the 1988 ASG was at Riverfront/Cinergy). Also don't be surprised if San Diego beats us to an ASG since although San Diego has hosted an ASG, Petco Park has not.

they alternate NL/AL every year, so Baltimore could possibly get it in 2016, which means we probably wouldn't get it in 2017 (too close to Baltimore).

Oriole Park had it already!

Has the new White Sox park had it yet?  I'm worried they would have it at New Yankee Stadium even if old Yankee Stadium just had it recently.

Yes - in 2003.

In the AL, Tampa and if they get a new stadium Oakland.
In the NL, Maybe Citizens Bank hasn't had it and San Diego!

BUT WE'RE THE NATIONS CAPITAL DAMN IT!
