Holy crap, they've closed my street to cars and there are hundreds of kids in costume parading right outside my house

I had no idea there were so many kids around here

Now I'd really better go find some damned candy...

My kids picked them out and my daughter was the only one who helped and she just wanted to use the drill.  Here's the three family pumpkins...

Those are awesome, very skilled! I opted not to do pumpkins this year, they cost money and no one would see them :(

Thanks.  The owl was a pain in the ass but definitely satisfying.

I'm lucky that I live in a village where they'll get plenty of "audience" tonight.  We usually get quite a crowd on Halloween.

That's nice :D even at home we never had an audience for our pumpkins- we live in a house tucked away in a long driveway at the end of a cul-du-sac, so most (lazy ass) kids just skip us and move on. Can't see the porch from the road.

Very cool Minty

I was stuck using that 97 cent wal mart pumpkin carver on my curly W when Ali said "you could have used the Dremel"

I almost slapped her lol

Whenever you say Ali I always think you're talking about AtBC at first.  Sometimes, that makes things sound quite awkward

My pumpkin.  Cheap plastic with strobe light inside!

The kids have Trunks or Treats at the church across the street.  After that they go thru the neighborhood.

I checked on her once (when I took that pic) and grabbed another beer, a bit later the bartender asked me to get her out of the bathroom because she was sprawled out sleeping. He was a gentleman though and allowed to finish my refreshments.

Reminds me of the scuzzbucket club/bar by BWI where a guy (with a perm, natch) waits by the door with a full ensemble of toiletries and hair products.  I guess if one's blowback and aerosol tan need a touch up before resuming duckface and sucked-in gut for the strut back to the table.

That's a really nice restroom.
